The Story
A mechanical engineer who became an operator.
After a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Gannon University and an MBA in Strategic Alliance from Maastricht, I spent the early years of my career at Schlumberger, Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and Independent Petroleum Group — trading fuel oil, gasoil, and jet fuel across Africa, the Arabian Gulf, and the Far East. Heavy industry, government regulators, and global markets — I learned how they actually fit together, where the leverage is, and where things break.
Today I do three things, and they reinforce each other. I build ventures — currently EVA Integrated Company, Koshari Bites, Ali Abdullah Mubarak Company, and The National Incubator. I advise executives at CEO level on strategy, alliances, and growth. And I write and speak about the most under-explored opportunity in our region: how the private sector and government can actually work together to build something that lasts. My book "Get Married with the Government" is the framework. Everything I do is an application of it.
